ABOUT THE ARTIST

Born in upper California in the early 90's, Kes spent his first two years with his biological father. His mother left before he was 1. He spent the ages of 2-5 in 6 different foster homes, at which point he was adopted. The adoption wasnt all good, nor all bad, and Kesi was placed in foster homes from ages10-16 by his adoptive parent.

Kes has multiple mental health disorders, and a few physical diagnosis, including Autism Spectrum Disorder, Gender Disphoria, Stickler's Syndrome and Pierre Robin Sequence.

At birth Kes spent many months in the Neonatal Intensive Care unit [NICU]. Before he would go home he would be given a tracheostomy [breathing tube] and a GTUBE [stomach placed feeding tube]. His gtube was removed sometime before he was 2, his trach was removed around age 5. At 10 Kes suffered his first retinal detachment, by 18 he had lost 90% of his vision in his right eye leaving his vision at worse than 20/200 in that eye.

in 2016 Kes had his first child, and his first NICU stay as an adult. His son spent 4m in the NICU before coming home.

In 2019 Kes had his 2nd and last child, with another NICU stay. His daughter spent 3 months in the NICU before coming home.

Today Kes runs a business in Secondlife called Multifarious Conceptions and a gift giving club called Easy Finds 4 Hard Times .  He is also a single stay at home parent to his two neurodiverse kiddos.
